18th & California is a simple street running station located on the California St in downtown Denver. It is a northbound only station with most trains turning around after the station and running back south down Stout Street, one block away. Like the stops on the parallel southbound line down Stout Street, the Light Rail runs in an exclusive lane alongside the west side of the street in the opposite direction of the flow of traffic. The stop consists of the ADA ramp at the SW corner of 18 St and California. Attached to the ramp is a canopy that has TVMs and covers about a single LRV. To designate a boarding area for longer trains the tactile warning strip on the sidewalk continues south.
